With the rpm installed, what do I have to do differently to enable separate screen sharing? |

Simply establish a connection and choose the screens to share. The implementations differ between the Flatpak package and the natively installed version. |

I just get a yes/no prompt to allow sharing in general, it doesnt let me choose a screen and always displays all 3 side by side |

Only the natively installed version can select the screens to share on KDE Plasma.
It is the expected behavior for the flatpak and AppImage versions. |

Same thing on Arch with KDE (Wayland), installed RustDesk through AUR. I'm trying to access the host from a Windows machine, both running version 1.4.4. |

This actually fixed the issue for me. I didn't realize you could remote the selection via a dedicated button. I thought it was stuck. So far i've been able to select both indivual monitors during selection and it worked to let me display and swap between them appropriately. I believe my issue is solved. |

Is it possible to get a prompt for selecting which screen to share, similar to the Flatpak versions of Chrome and Firefox? |

I can still reproduce this issue on Plasma 6.7.2 running a Wayland session on CachyOS. Additionally, the server-side remote session still doesn't provide an option to switch between monitor outputs, unlike on X11. Is there an issue tracking this? I can reproduce it with both the Arch package ( |

Hi there,
I'm currently using RustDesk to remotely control my main PC from another one. My setup includes three monitors, and everything works fine on the host side — the OS recognizes each monitor separately and they are set up in extended mode.
However, when I connect to the host from the client, RustDesk displays all three monitors as a single, wide screen. I don’t have the ability to select individual monitors on client side, and it seems like RustDesk is merging them into one big virtual screen. I’ve already tried toggling all the available screen/monitor-related options in the settings, but nothing changes.
I'm running Linux with the Bazzite distribution on the host side, and I'm using the latest version of RustDesk on both the host and client.
I've seen that some users can select individual monitors through the toolbar, but in my case, that option doesn’t seem to work or appear.
If needed, I can provide a video showing the issue in action.
Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround or configuration I'm missing to get proper multi-monitor support?
