Describe the bug
Live models seems to be not working properly with sub-agents. There is significant amount of delay in some live models, and in some there is also a distortion along with delay in sub-agents.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Start a live voice session with the manager agent A.
2. Trigger a handoff to sub-agent B (e.g., ask a query routed to B).
3. Observe the audio stream during and after the transfer.
4. Repeat with a sub-agent → sub-agent (peer) transfer.

Actual Result

1. Ongoing speech from A is cut mid-utterance. (in some live models)
2. Handoff completes, but the new agent stays silent. (in every live model)
3. If the user says “hello” or similar, duplicate or triplicate replies may arrive, then silence again. (in some live models)

Expected behavior
Current sentence finishes cleanly, then seamless audio from the new agent with no gaps or duplicates.
