Anthem Title Capitalization

[edit]
 • What I think should be changed (format using {{StringDiff}}):
{{lang|uk|Державний Гімн України}}
{{transliteration|uk|Derzhavnyi Himn Ukrainy}}
+
{{lang|uk|Державний гімн України}}
{{transliteration|uk|Derzhavnyi himn Ukrainy}}
 • Why it should be changed: Correct anthem title capitalization

Territory problem

[edit]

the Russian occupied territories part on one of the first parts of the page is wrong, Ukraine controls it, bu the next territory calling is "territories controlled by Ukraine, i recommend you rename Russian occupied territories to Russian claimed non-controlled territories 2A02:8109:9782:2900:C06E:D8E0:18DA:6CF1 (talk) 15:24, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and thank you for your comment! Could you please specify which territories are Russian claimed non-controlled territories, and would you please state your sources, otherwise we cannot change this. Lova Falk (talk) 16:26, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

There's a page for the OUN(m) now. Also just altering the Melnyk link which is currently a redirect.

 • Change: Although this brought conflict with Nazi Germany, at times the [[Andriy Atanasovych Melnyk|Melnyk]] wing of the OUN allied with the Nazi forces.
Done replaced with one Wikilink, since the sentence discusses the Melnykites rather than Melnyk himself — 🪫Volatile 📲T | ⌨️C 21:19, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Second Hetmanate

[edit]

In the infobox, Ukraine's predecessor states are listed under Formation. Is there a reason why the Second Hetmanate is excluded? I thought it might be because of its de facto sovereignty but then the Cossack Hetmanate is included. Joko2468 (talk) 21:54, 1 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Request that the Ukrainian State be added to the Formation section of the infobox. Using the less common Second Hetmanate would be more useful to the reader, especially since it comes after the Cossack Hetmanate. The dates should reflect the reinstallation of the Ukrainian People's Republic. Joko2468 (talk) 12:59, 4 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. tony 18:26, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I'm making a clearer request though I can't really write out the exact code. Under Formation in the infobox:

Change:

To:

On sources, please see the relevant entries in the Encyclopedia of Ukraine (these needn't be cited) regarding Ukrainian National Republic (an alternative translation) and Ukrainian State. Second Hetmanate is an alternative name per this source but is clearer to readers and fits well in the context. This is a fundamental part of Ukrainian history and it shouldn't be glossed over. Joko2468 (talk) 22:38, 7 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for clarifying this! I will make this edit. Lova Falk (talk) 08:19, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Nice thank you! However, the date next to the second People's Republic is incorrect-- it should read 14 December 1918 rather than the same date as the Central Rada iteration. Joko2468 (talk) 10:49, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed Yes of course, you're right, I missed that! Lova Falk (talk) 10:51, 8 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
